Unity Worship Rally

The Churches of the Sinnissippi Baptist Association joined together for a wonderful evening of outstanding Food and Fellowship at our Quarterly Unity Worship Rally at Northside Baptist Church in Dixon! – a special thanks again to the Ladies of Bethel, Emmanuel and Como FBC for providing an appetizing and filling meal!  We celebrate that members from each one of our partnering churches were in attendance! 

Marylyn German opened the Service with a Patriotic Medley - followed by a greeting and words of encouragement from Brian McWethy, our IBSA Regional Representative.  Aaron Jackson, the Association’s Church Strengthening Team Leader, welcomed everyone and reminded us of the ‘strength of our churches’ - as we each Serve in our portion of God’s Kingdom!  Some of the Children from our Summer Camp provided special music and helped in singing one of the Worship Choruses!  Garrett Jackson, our Summer Church Planting Intern, was introduced and gave the opening prayer…followed by a season of Worship music lead by Brad Pittman and the praise team from Grace Fellowship!  Mike Meyer gave a passionate invitation to sign up for the Association’s Mission Trip to El Salvador in January 2017! and Pastor Daniel Rivera, from the Iglesia Bautista Church, provided an inspiring song – “Because He Lives” – in Spanish.  He was joined by the Spanish congregation – truly a blessing!!  Our guest speakers, Bryan and Deanna Wolf – missionaries to Chili, South America – blessed us with stories of God’s Grace at work in the people of Chili!  The evening ended with a special prayer of blessing by Northside Baptist’s pastor, Dan Bentz, for the Wolf Family…followed by the Association’s Theme song for 2016, “Here I am, Lord.”  The evening was a true celebration of God’s blessings upon the ministries of the churches of the Association!  Thanks be to our Great God!
